Connection

Recently, I’ve been thinking about the meaning of connection now and many years ago. I got a lot of pictures from very personal to general ones.

Some of them have remained the same since the beginning of time like a man and woman kissing or a small baby at its mother’s breast. People were always connected at the family and tribal level to ensure security and food sources.

At a certain point, people wanted to expand, seek new territories, which usually did not happen without bleeding. The new type of connection between conqueror and native habitant was established, worldwide, through the whole history.

To reach new territories quickly meant the development of transportation. Millions of new roads and railways began to crisscross the globe to better connect places and people. Later, transport also spread above the earth’s surface by airplanes and space shuttles.

Industry and other technologies were developed hand in hand with transportation, reality has reached the fantasy of filmmakers. I wonder if it was the steam engine that established a new kind of connection between man and machine, the connection where the machine stands above everything else.

It made me think if the pride of connecting to machines is similar to the pride of the people who built the Tower of Babel. I am trying not to lose the truth of my heart, the most important connection.

Love and hugs,

Ivana

To be connected

Following my last advice, I turn attention to the faith. Although I’m not a part of any religion officially, my heart speaks Hebrew.

I have no preconditions to it from the family, it came to me in dreams many years ago and since that I’ve confirmed a strong response of my soul and heart to the sound of the Hebrew language in various circumstances, even though I didn’t understand a single word in the beginning.

I’m still on the way of searching how to implement this fact into my daily life and not to pretend anything. Maybe I’m not fast enough and this is why the violet color sits deep in the wardrobe full of dust.

So I returned to the picture I drew a few years ago, when I was trying to catch my vision of the commandments inside of the tree of life.

I have meditated over this drawing last days and it seems to me, that each of us is a kind of smart-phone with the spiritual crown instead of antenna, constantly sending messages about true personal stuff to the whole universe with stars as transmitters.

It doesn’t matter how colorful and funny things are displayed to other people, the truth is preciously mined and sent to the attention of HaShem.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe when you get no direct answer, but the point is to keep trying and stay connected, right?

With love and apology for my Hebrew handwriting,

Ivana

Reading colors

There is no doubt, that colors affect our lives. We are surrounded by colors, and even if we do not realize it, their selection mirrors our personality and even our mood.

Last time I gave you a game with associations, which is pretty easy to play and read. And before I tell you about more sophisticated method of reading colors, I owe you a solution of my associations.

taste_of_colors

Looking at the picture, I always look for the weakest point first. At the moment, it is the orange for sure. The sun occupies just a little space and has no companion. So I would guess for a little joy.

To be sure, look at the opposite side, at the level of the complementary color, which is blue. Despite of the blue nature, this part of the color pie is smiling or it seems to me like it. It means that some deep topics of blue take a part of joy away. I would recommend to be less focused on sadness and more to be surrounded by orange in any form (even as a fragrance), which could help to light the darkness.

In general, the axis orange – blue is nicknamed the axis of relationships. So you can assume that the field of relationships belongs to the weak points of the author and it probably brings a portion of deep or sad emotions currently.

It calls for transformation, and this is nickname of the axis yellow – violet. Looking at these colors, we learn how much is the author ready to make or accept change.

And I don’t see much hope. Although I feel a lot of yellow available, it means there are tools to break the darkness, there is a dust on violet side. So I would recommend thinking less (which is the yellow part) and be more focused to the faith (which is the violet part). The picture says, that the current problem couldn’t be fully solved by logical brain. On the other hand, the honest faith of heart could do it.

Last, but not least is the axis red – green, which is nicknamed the axis of the balance of life. The words and picture reveal that the author is somehow afraid of the life fragility, but it is balanced by the love to trees and nature. Despite of the problems in relationships there is a stabilizing element that helps to overcome it. Anyway I would recommend to be more braved and take more risk.

So, it was a short example how to easily read associations of colors including mutual context. Comments and questions are welcomed.

But there is another way how to read your inner self through colors and it is illustrated on the main picture. The method is called Aura-Soma, comes from Great Britain of the late 1980s. I’ve been in touch with the color bottles of magic since 2004 and still they can surprise me with accurate and deep messages.

I believe there are many who have already met the Aura-Soma bottles. There are more than 100 of them already, so the picture above is a small example only. Would you like to share your experience?

With supporting love of colors,

Ivana

Dreaming of summer lounging

Fortunately, I live in a relatively safe part of the world, considering weather and socio-political climate. In the middle of Europe we usually do not have hurricanes or tornados. But today, we had a really strong wind here, perhaps the strongest in the last ten years. Power supply was interrupted in many places, many trees suddenly fell down and two of them even ended human lives.

I spent my day safe at home, watching the raging wind behind the window. I felt anxiety for all the people outside, thinking about the nature of this weather.

A strong wind struggles to bridge extremely different pressures in the atmosphere, and the desire to balance is so strong that it takes everything what stands in its way. It is not so different from a human nature. Many people hate conflicts, so they are trying to bridge the enemy pressures among others. They use themselves to prevent the storm of strong words or even real fights. But is it possible to keep the storm in a garage forever?

I am sad for all the trees that have been so suddenly defeated from their roots, and I am naturally sad for the human lives that have been so suddenly ended. But something deeply inside tells me that the storm was like a blow of the truth. It was the unpleasant blow of the unpleasant truth, which is exactly what we usually try to avoid.

We usually prefer to dream of harmony and happiness, even if they do not stand on completely true foundations. I personally do not believe that our life is a journey into paradise in terms of endless lounging. I do believe that the path of life is a sinusoid, where the pulses alternate up and down in the rhythm that G-d has in his hands.

We can only do our best to have love, compassion and strength in our hearts to overcome consequences of the tornados, coming into our lives. And try not to make useless storms.

Keeping courage

This week I drew a picture for myself, for my own encouragement and clear mind. I took color pencils into my hands and there began a strange heart to be formed, one heart from two opposite parts. There was a wide mixture of feelings – courage with hope, fight with faith, will with love, male with female. And it was their mutual cooperation which created the certainty that even impossible thing could be done.

Cooperation of the opposites is the key. In our everyday life we are naturally attracted into the groups on the basis of similarity. And it is also natural, that individual groups are opposed to each other. Sometimes it is only on a joke level and sometimes it can escalate into more serious fights. The same principle works in the big world of politics and adults as in kindergarten among children. Permanent focus on competition and rivalry gives the impression that nothing else could shape our identity.

And that’s why there must be an earthquake or other disaster from time to time. It’s an opportunity to check if malicious rivalry didn’t yet eliminate pity, mercy and solidarity. If there is still somehow kept the balance between Ego and Heart, if the common humanity is alive.

I pray in order to prefer voice of my heart to the cry of the ego and leave what is not essential. I hope to do it before some kind of disaster come also to my life. Unfortunately there are plenty of them worldwide.

With love, Ivana

P.S. I’ve been already told that the picture looks more like an ass than a heart….

The Night of Miracles

Whether we celebrate Christmas or Chanukah, we celebrate the night of miracles. Each of us may need to believe in miracles, because we live in a cynical age when wars, suffering and death of thousands are watched on TV at breakfast.

Belief in miracles brings hope, that one day we ourselves are going to become part of a miracle. It encourages us to overcome obstacles and not to be indifferent to the surrounding life. Belief in miracles doesn’t mean to wait for them at home and doing nothing.

So let’s celebrate! Happy Christmas and Chanukah!

Cabbage Rose: Follow your Faith

Most of people are convinced that rose is a symbol of love. But there are hundreds of roses’ species and not all of them say the same thing. They cover various forms of love and various aspects of it.

I had an opportunity to perceive energy of the cabbage rose and must say that it was extremely strong energy. I would say uncompromising black and white energy. You are either with me or against me, nothing between. It does not understand hesitation or neutrality. There is a strong instinct and courage to take a risk. This rose simply knows what believes in and is ready to fight for it. Fight and feel no pain.

Who doesn’t have enough courage he never understand the cabbage rose. And he doesn’t understand natural instincts of life. Most of us are cautious to say definite opinions, be honest with no excuses and white lies. We are too afraid of others’ opinions about ourselves, that we forgot what we really want and what we believe in.

Roses often appear on aristocratic coats of arms as the symbol of fidelity to genus. Many people were killed on battlefields and outside of them just because of faith or false promises. But this is no reason to loss the faith and courage to follow it. Ask your children, they always know what they want and what they believe. They are still in touch with their instincts.
